Kremlin sees no need in raising vaccine-producing capacities
MOSCOW, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- The Kremlin sees no need to expand the capacities producing the COVID-19 vaccines, spokesman for the president Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
Moscow earlier said that the latest supply of the EpiVacCorona vaccine was sufficient only to vaccinate the people with the second component.
"We know that there is a schedule of production, a schedule of supply and distribution among the regions," Peskov added that the second component of the vaccine is a priority because its injection is timed.
"All producers, researchers constantly raise production speed. We cannot do this instantly, of coures, it is gradual."
